Rincon High School 65th Anniversary Celebration

Hello RHS Family and Alumni!
Rincon opened 65 years ago!
Happy Birthday, Rincon!

The Rincon PTA is planning a celebration for Rincon’s 65th Anniversary on October 27 at 7pm at the Ranger football game.

We need help getting in touch with anyone and everyone who graduated from Rincon so they can attend and celebrate with us!

Prior to the game, there will be an Alumni reception in the school cafeteria at 5:00 pm. This is a chance to find old friends… and maybe make some new ones. We plan to have some memorabilia on display and alums are encouraged to bring their own to share. A campus tour is planned for 5:45 pm for those who would like to see how the campus has evolved and to see what has stayed the same.

Our current RUHS band will be in California on this day and we would LOVE to put together an alumni band and have alumni cheerleaders come and cheer at the game. We would also love to have alumni walk the track with a sign of the year/decade they graduated and would like to recognize you all at half time. If you know of anyone who is interested in coming or if anyone would like to join us in planning this event please have them reach out to me or come to our next meeting on Oct 23 at 6pm in the Rincon library or on zoom. We are open to all ideas. Below is the information for zoom.

For those band alumni that are interested in playing during the game, you can find the sheet music to the Ranger fight song and pep tunes at https://rangerband.org/rinconuniversity-ms-night-music. Please send an email to rhsptapres@gmail.com if you plan on playing so that pertinent info can be emailed to you.

Spread the word to any Rincon alumni you may know!
Hope to see you there! GO RANGERS!

Thank you!
Georgina Lynn Carrillo-Gaxiola
